My first shots with a digital camera, an Olympus C-4040 in an Ikelite housing with no external strobe.

 I could only do two dives (Big Island, Northwest corner). Accustomed to a Nikonos V,

I found the shutter lag extremely frustrating. Also, contrast was very pronounced

 in pictures with a wide exposure range; the highlights overexposed.

As always, practice will make for better results. A digital SLR? It is still far in the horizon.
